Description: 

The focus of the five programs (Molecular Genetics & Proteomics, Neuroscience, Heart, Lung, & Blood, Global Change Ecology, and Microbiology: From Atoms to Ecosystems) is full-time laboratory or field research under the direction of a University of Minnesota faculty mentor. Over 400 faculty in basic and applied sciences and engineering disciplines are potential mentors for approximately 200 undergraduates in these programs. Specifics vary from program to program.
   

Benefits: 

All students receive a total compensation package that includes housing, travel, tuition (Molecular Genetics & Proteomics program only), and a stipend.
