Description: |
The Program offers interns hands-on experience conducting ecological research with SERC's scientists. Interns conduct independent projects as well. At the end of the program, interns give a formal seminar on their research to the SERC science community. The program enables students to work on specific projects under the direction of the Center's professional staff and is tailored to provide the maximum educational benefit to each participant. Subject matter of the projects includes terrestrial and estuarine environmental research within the disciplines of mathematics, chemistry, physics, microbiology, botany, and zoology. |
