This program offers students a chance to work in a cross-disciplinary setting on collaborative research with faculty, graduate students, research engineers, and scientists. Projects include research related to bioremediation of contaminated sites, biofouling/biocorrosion, contamination in water distribution systems, petroleum reservoir souring, antibiotic resistance development, medical device-related infections, and many others. There will also be lectures and discussions on professional, research, and environmental ethics, and field trips to Butte, Montana and Yellowstone National Park. |
