CAHSEE interns participate in leadership development seminars, meet and discuss issues with national leaders, and participate in important events in Washington, DC. The vision of the Center for the Advancement of Hispanics in Science and Engineering Education (CAHSEE) is to ensure that the next generation of Latinos and other minorities in the United States achieves percentile parity and leadership positions in the fields of science, mathematics and engineering by the end of the second decade of the next century. CAHSEE is a result of almost a decade of concerted efforts to increase the number of Hispanics in the fields of science and engineering. A variety of programs are offered to meet the specific interests of the student. |
