Imagi-Nations is a university design competition created and sponsored by Walt Disney Imagineering to promote diversity. The competition enables teams of two to four students to showcase their talents and gain practical knowledge in design, with the opportunity to earn scholarship money. The creative design and development subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company, Imagineering is made up of "dreamers and doers" representing more than 140 distinct disciplines including Art, Architecture, Computer Animation, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Engineering, Film, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Model Making, Sculpting and Theater/Set Design. Imagi-Nations is a university competition that encourages students such as yourself to do the same. Applicants demonstrate their creativity by using their technical, artistic, and writing skills to design a ride, attraction, hotel or land within an existing Disney theme park or resort, or create an entirely new experience, such as a theme park, resort, themed restaurant or something completely original.
