Description: |
Ten science, engineering, and mathematics undergraduates will be awarded summer internships to conduct guided research in marine science. Interns will work with faculty and research staff in a graduate student atmosphere on a research topic in chemical, physical, or biological oceanography, marine biology, marine geology, or marine biochemistry. Interns will work semi-independently on a project designed by the intern and assigned faculty adviser (Marine Biology, Oceanography, Physical Ocean Science & Engineering) and present written and oral reports at the end of the summer. Interns will receive one credit and will be expected to attend weekly seminars presented by faculty and research staff. |
