Description: |
During the program, students conduct an individual research project under the guidance of staff members of the Geophysical Laboratory or the Department of Terrestrial Magnetism of the Carnegie Institution of Washington. A variety of research fields are available for study, including: experimental petrology, mineralogy, mineral physics, seismology, planetary sciences and astronomy, biogeochemistry and related chemical sciences. Students will also tour other DC area research facilities and participate in a weekly seminar program. |
